BIOGRAPHY

Julie Meeks Greco joined Shuman McCuskey Slicer PLLC in 2025 as Counsel. She has over twenty-seven years in civil defense litigation defending public entities, employers, professionals, individuals and businesses. Her practice focuses on employment law, education law, civil rights, and wrongful death and the defense of cities, towns, counties, state agencies, and private employers in litigation.

Ms. Greco is a native of Charleston, West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1992, and her Juris Doctor in 1997, from West Virginia University. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for both the Southern District of West Virginia and Northern District of West Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is also admitted to practice in the Common Wealth of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Ms. Greco is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, The American Bar Association, Kanawha County Bar Association, and the American Inns of Court.

Ms. Greco resides in Charleston, West Virginia, with her husband and children. She is a Board Member for the Fix Em Clinic, a non-profit spay and neuter, and wellness clinic providing low-cost compassionate services for pets. She is also Board Member of the Mid-Atlantic Dance Initiative (MADI) a non-profit organization offering dancers from around the Mid-Atlantic region the opportunity to work with master teachers and earn scholarships and college admissions.
