Twisting
What is Twisting?
Workers' Compensation Insurance
Workers' compensation insurance is acquired by an employer. Usually, the decision to acquire such insurance is made as a choice, mandated by state law, between purchasing workers' compensation insurance or being self-insured through a separately administered and funded plan.
International Operations Insurance
As international operations of companies have expanded, the need for insurance products to reduce the risk of such operations has grown. Political risk insurance and trade credit insurance are two such products.
Aviation Insurance Pools
Insurance pools have developed in response to the magnitude of potential losses from an occurrence involving aviation. Aviation insurance generally covers risks arising from the operation of aircraft and ground facilities for aircraft. A single occurrence involving aircraft or an airport could result in catastrophic exposure that would exceed the capacity of a single insurer and its reinsurers.
